Description of the Project
The project is complex, multi-task and long-term, including: construction of new quays, extension of existing breakwaters, increasing storage space for sea transport, an array of new constructions and installations for the Authority, and construction of a new fuel dock.
The work is carried out by conquering areas from the sea by constructing walls of barriers, breakwaters and caissons, which constitute the structural system of the new grounds that will be created for the development of the new cargo terminal.
The project will be carried out in defined stages that correspond to all the necessary aspects of this kind of work, such as large scale fillings, consolidation problems at various stages of the project, construction of the different structures.
