Description of the Project

A bridge for Israel Railways on the Naan - Jerusalem line - The Bridge crosses at upper level from south to north, Highway No. 3 at Section 522 of the road.

At the southern end of the bridge, a tunnel is planned over an existing active track, which will be canceled after the completion of the bridge and the operation of the new track, which will pass at the upper level.

Further north, the tracks are located on top of a ground embankment. On the western side of the embankment, an acoustic wall of 600 m long and 3.0 m high will be constructed. At the foot of the embankment, two water culverts from east to west.

The bridge is a frame type bridge in 35.0+23+23.5m span, with a total length of 373.5 m and a width of 6.20 m.

The bridge's deck consists of one row of trench beams that are post tensioned on site, and on top of which is a reinforced concrete deck cast on site.

The middle supports are columns cast on the site, in a uniform circular cross-section of the entire height.

The end pillars are abutments cast at the site.

The tunnel is 44.8 meters long and the interior is 6.0 m / 5.0 m wide.

The walls of the tunnel are of cast concrete at the site, and the ceiling is on a 35 cm thick concrete slab and a total thickness of 1.0 m.
